In 2002, we are still doing furniture, with several partners to Malaysia to buy merbau. A local timber merchant took out a piece of mengaris and told us this wood is replacing of merbau, because the real merbau is less and less. At that time we realized that good natural wood have already become scarce resources, and will be more and more scarce. Then we try to use plastic and timber composite to do furniture accessories.

In 2006 we see many exterior projects selected Greener Wood, which have made the opposite case: deformation, cracks, color fade...After a short while all these problem materials become the waste and have been replaced. It is the time for outdoor composite wood industry rise, and we officially join this industry.

To make the best exterior composite wood, we selected all kinds of plastic raw material (PE, PS, PP, PVC) to do tests, finally we use PVC material to co-extruded. We choose the superior PVC particles, all the additives are Germany’s BASF - these additives are also big cosmetics used to add, we bought the advanced production equipment that after numerous modifications and debugging by us.

PVC co-extrusion is a very complicated process. In the early time, our defective rate is very surprising, but we always adhere to the no defective goods. Perhaps it is for this reason, our reputation in this line has been highly recognized and projects are everywhere. Now our process is more and more mature. Today we have another new factory, using “Betto Wood” for our brand and company name.
